These buses were decommissioned in the fall of 2022.

Aid to Ukraine continues as European cities donate means of transport. Bratislava will send 25 Irisbus Citelis 12M buses to Kyiv in the coming weeks and months, Slovakia’s capital mayor Matúš Vallo announced after a meeting in Kyiv.

As reported by imhd.sk, the buses were taken out of service last fall by the transport company Dopravný podnik Bratislava (DPB). According to the website, most of the buses are still operational, while some will be used for spare parts. In 2022, the city of Bratislava donated trams (T3) and trolleybuses (Skoda 14Tr/15Tr) to Ukraine.

Last week in Kyiv, the mayors of Warsaw, Prague, Bratislava, and Budapest discussed their options. Warsaw announced the donation of ten metro trains, while Prague had previously donated a number of trams to Ukraine.
