Every week, ČD Cargo operates six pairs of trains between Hamburg and the Metrans terminals in Česká Třebová and Prague.

One of ČD Cargo’s Traxx locomotives (388.015) now bears a special livery combining the colors and logos of ČD Cargo and Metrans. The locomotive was ceremonially launched at Děčín main station. The new livery is a symbol of the cooperation between the two companies.

For many years, ČD Cargo has been cooperating with Metrans Group, which is a combined transport operator, in the area of domestic transport and first- and last-mile transport.

Two years ago, ČD Cargo hauled the first train for Metrans in Germany, and today its locomotives haul six pairs of trains a week between Hamburg and the Metrans terminals in Česká Třebová and Prague. The trains are operated entirely by ČD Cargo drivers.

Metrans dispatches 56 trains a week from ports in northern Germany to the Czech Republic. ČD Cargo operates in seven European countries.
