Connecting bus services are available for the arrivals and departures in Ostrava.

LOT Polish Airlines has renewed its connection between Ostrava and Warsaw after a year. The airline will fly to the airport in the Polish capital five times a week.  Connecting bus services are available.

The service to the Polish capital originally started on 25 October 2020, but was suspended at the end of March 2021 due to the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent travel restrictions. The line thus operated for only a few months.

The route will be served by Bombardier Q400 and Embraer 170/175 aircraft alternatively, with a capacity of 70 to 82 seats in three travel classes. The flight schedule currently provides for departures from Ostrava at 5:20 a.m. on Mondays, 5:45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays and 2:25 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. From Warsaw, the route is scheduled to depart at 4:10 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 12:45 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 11:15 p.m. on Sundays.

Connecting bus services are available for the arrivals and departures in Ostrava. Ostrava Airport offers free parking for the first three months to departing LOT clients.

The airport was also busy yesterday with military traffic, seeing the landing of a U.S. B-52 Stratofortress bomber twice in one afternoon as part of the flights to practice mutual cooperation between the air forces of NATO member states over Central and Eastern Europe.
