On Czech territory, the carriages will run between Břeclav and Bohumín.

A panoramic carriage of the Swiss Federal Railways SBB will appear on the Czech railroads from the June timetable. It will run regularly as part of the EC 104 from Graz to Przemyśl, i.e. from Břeclav to Bohumín on the territory of the Czech Republic.

Rynek Kolejowy first reported the news, with České dráhy spokesperson Petr Št’ahlavský confirming for CEETransport.com. The Apm61 Pano car, which will be a part of EC 104 (Porta Moravica), appeared in the Czech Republic in 2021 during the Connecting Europe Express presentation run. Still, it has never been regularly operated in the country. The last time Swiss cars were deployed in the Czech Republic was in 2001 on the Prague – Zurich train.

The panoramic car will be available to passengers with a first-class ticket. Thanks to the partially glazed roof, it allows better views than a regular carriage. SBB bought twelve of these in 1991/1992.
