CD are at fault for not maintaining the rolling stock they have committed to run the service offered. However DB are just throwing passengers out and leaving them to their fate. I’m not a lawyer but that seems like a basic breach of the sales contract between DB and the customer. DB should ensure that they provide a substitute train that runs the full length of the original journey.
