The carrier expects to deploy an Airbus A320.

Starting June 17, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) will launch a seasonal service between Baku and Prague. Tickets are already on sale. The carrier announced the launch of the route in a press release.

According to the flight schedule, the flights will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. Departure from Prague will be at 11 a.m., with arrival in Baku at 5:10 p.m. local time; total flight time is 4 hours and 10 minutes. From Baku, the carrier will depart at 7 a.m., arriving in Prague at 9:30 a.m.

The carrier expects to deploy an Airbus A320. No other carrier flies from Prague to Azerbaijan. The prices of return tickets are around 500 dollars.

AZAL has flown to Prague in the past, cooperating with Czech Airlines on the Baku–Prague route. Czech Airlines later operated the route by itself for several years, but eventually canceled the connection.
