There is only one direct connection from Berlin to the US now.

The newly established Norse Atlantic Airways is opening more routes between Europe and the USA. On August 17, the carrier will start flying from Berlin to New York and Los Angeles.

Norse Atlantic Airways is offering a low-cost concept; a return ticket to California can be bought for as little as 317 euros. The cheapest ticket to New York is EUR 270 if you fly with only an underseat bag. Everything else is extra.

The carrier is entering routes with a currently minimal offer of direct flights. United Airlines is the only carrier that flies direct from Berlin to New York, and there is none to Los Angeles. Norse Atlantic Airways will deploy a Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the routes, flying daily to New York and three times a week to Los Angeles.

Norse Atlantic Airways was formed last year; it will begin operations on June 14 from Oslo, Norway. Services to the US from London and Berlin will become available in August.
