This is the fifth Cessna aircraft for the Smartwings Czech owners' carrier.

UG Jet, a company backed by the Smartwings Group Czech owners, landed its fifth business jet in Prague today. It has added a brand new Cessna Citation 700 Longitude to its fleet.

The OK-JRE aircraft arrived in Prague from Wichita, Kansas, USA, with two stopovers: in Teterboro, New Jersey, and Tenerife in the Canary Islands.

“The Czech company is the first operator of this type of business jet in Europe,” said Smartwings Group spokeswoman Vladimira Dufkova. According to the Czech Aircraft Register, UG Jet is the owner, not just the operator of the aircraft. The list price is $29.8 million. So far, the company operates four Cessna 680 models.

Cessna Citation Longitude 700 obtained certification in September 2019 in the US and in 2021 in Europe. The range of the aircraft, powered by Honeywell HTF7000 engines, is 6,500 km, with a capacity of up to twelve passengers.
